Hi there, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas with family and friends but now it's time to pack away the Christmas stamps and move on. I came across the "Just us Girls" challenge blog whilst checking out my followers favourite blogs. I thought I would play along with the inspiration photo this week.
I kind of went with the colours and the whole fun at the top, writing at the bottom idea. A few old Stampin' Up! sale-a-bration stamp sets where perfect for what I had in mind so out came Sprinkled Expressions and Outlined Occasions. The stars are stamped in Pool Party and Island Indigo with little black stars to fill it up. I fussy cut round the top of the stars to give some dimension and pop one star because I could really!LOL
The word celebration was stamped in black and then coloured in the two colours with my blender pen. Overall a quick and fun card. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

An all time favourite for Feeling Sketchy
The presents are wrap, the decorations are hung, all my cards are sent so now it is time to relax and make a few cards that have absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. LOL!
Normally I love this time of year but right now I am just looking forward to the two weeks off work. It has been an exhausting couple of months so all I want to do is chill out and do as I please instead of continuously running to a schedule. With my daughter going away with friends after Christmas and hubby working I should manage to do just that.
Today's card is my entry into this weeks Feeling Sketchy challenge. I really love the simplicity of these girls sketches, it
leave everything open for interpretation and this weeks sketch from Jess
T is no different.
I have pulled out an old favourite for this one. Bordering on Romance is my absolute favourite stamp set ever. I love it and use quite often.
I really like the way Michelle from the DT has layer the center panel over the full back piece (well that's how it looks) on her inspiration card so decided to go that way too. Sahara Sands and Perfect Plum make a lovely colour combo I've also added a touch of Lucky Limeade to the leaves all coloured with my trusty blender pen of course!
This is the first all Stampin' Up! card I have made in a while. Here is the list of supplies.
Stamp Sets: Bordering on Romance, Wacky Words
Card Stock: Sahara Sands, Perfect Plum
Ink: Sahara Sands, Perfect Plum, Lucky Limeade, Black Staz On
Ribbon: Perfect Plum Taffeta ribbon
Tools: Blender Pen,
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I like to feel the love! LOL
And if you've got time why not join in at Feeling Sketchy the more the better.

Christmas Pixie made like Pops
The silly season has kept me busy but today I finally got to spend a few hours crafting and surprise, surprise my mojo decided to join me! LOL
This card is for the challenge over at Tiddly inks to "make it like Pops" I have kind of gone with image because like Pops, I too used a pixie image, this one being Christmas Pixie but also layout. I love making easel cards and it has been a while since I have done one.
Again the papers are from SU as is the sentiment, I have coloured the Pixie in with my Pro Markers and added some glitter to her wings and bells, unfortunately it doesn't show up on the photos. The holly I have had in my stash for years and couldn't even tell you where it is from much less by who.
I hope you like what I have done, I think this will be the very last Christmas card I make for the year.

Feeling Sketchy Week 37
Hi there, I don't know about you but one week just blends into another at the moment. Today I actually managed to spend a bit of time in my craft room and for once my mojo came with me LOL!
Jess D has come up with another great sketch for us to play with this week at Feeling Sketchy
I have used all Stampin Up! products on this card including a sneak peek at an up coming promo stamp and punch set but you will have to wait to hear about that. I took the colours from the butterfly paper and went with that. I hope you like my entry this week.

Feeling Sketchy Wk 35 Sketch
Hi there!
It has certainly been silly season around here for the last few weeks but this weekend I was determined to get a card made to enter into a challenge. I decided to go with the great Sketch over at Feeling Sketchy this week. It's Mum's birthday on Monday so I have made a birthday card using the sketch and when it comes to my Mum I can never go past butterflies...she loves them!
The papers are from a paper stack by Prima called Rondelle, I have fussy cut a few extra bits to add dimension. The butterflies are from Stampin' Ups Papillon potpourri which I stamped in black staz on and coloured with my trusty blender pen. Stickers and glitter ribbon are from my stash.
I hope Mum likes her birthday card!

Always the Flower Girl
I am off to Canberra this weekend for my cousins wedding so craft time is a bit limited but I couldn't leave without entering a card into a couple of my favourite challenges. I have used the very appropriately named "Always the Flower Girl"digi image from Tiddly Inks for my card and followed the fab sketch that Jess and the girls have come up with over at Feeling Sketchy.
Here is my card:
I am entering this into Tiddly Inks Challenge #98 Gratitude and also Feeling Sketchy Week #33 which is this sketch:
All the papers are from Stampin' Up! as well as the sentiment. I have colored the adorable image in with my Pro Markers and the flowers again are a SU! stamp that I have colored and fussy cut to tie in with the flowers she is holding. I hope you like her.

FMS #60 Wedding card
Next weekend my husband and I are traveling to Canberra to attend my cousins wedding, so today I have made a card for this wonderful occasion.
I have used Stampin' Up! card stock, inks and stamps. I don't know why but I always find this colour combo very romantic! LOL The sketch the Tui has come up with at Freshly Made Sketches was the perfect layout for this card so I am entering into this weeks challenge.
Here is the sketch:
As you can see i have embellished a bit but hey it is a wedding card after all and I like them to be a bit special. The bow, flowers and hat pin finish the layout just nicely.
Colours: Crumb Cake, Neutrals, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, Illuminate shimmer.

Teddy Flower for Feeling Sketchy
WOW these challenges have got me hooked! I am amazed that I have found (or should I say made) the time to participate in my very busy schedule. My darling sister Naomi told me about this challenge at Feeling Sketchy so I thought I would play along.
My Mum gave me some Lily of the Valley images that she got as a freebie when she purchased a magazine some time ago, I decided to use the very cute and adorable "Teddy Flower" for this card.
This is the sketch layout, as you can see I decided to flip mine to suit the image.
All the papers are from Stampin Up! also the ribbon and sentiment. The little leaves were cut out on the Big Shot.
I have coloured the image using Pastel Pencils and my trusty blender pen. I used the flick technique in three different colours on Ted to give him that real fur effect. I think he looks very cute.
I have enjoyed playing in my first Feeling Sketchy challenge.
Card Stock: Early Espresso,Primrose Petal, Daffodil Delight Polka Dot Parade DSP, Whisper White (sponged)
Ribbon: Primrose Petal Stitched Satin

Annabelle Sweet Melon made like Lou!
Hi,
I am so excited to enter my first card into the Tiddly Inks challenge. I found this site a couple of months ago and purchased a few digital images and have been following the site to get some tips on colouring up the images. Today was a public holiday in Victoria so it gave me plenty of time to play and a 20% off sale at a local scrapbook shop sealed the deal! LOL
Anyway the challenge is to "Make it like Lou" layout, colours, image any thing you choose so I decided to go with layout.
Here is my card using the very cute Anne Belle Sweet Melon: (sorry the picture came out a bit dark)
The papers are from Imaginisce and I used the coloured spots on the background piece to choose the matting colours. Stampin' Ups! Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Polk Dot Parade SP in Marina Blue match perfectly.
Pro Markers are still fairly new to me although I have had them for a few years I don't pull them out too often because I always tend to SU! stuff instead.
Pro Markers used:
Dress Skin
Bright Green Satin
Forest Green Dusky Pink
Holly Sunkissed Pink
Mandarin Soft Peach-cheeks
A mber
Hair Watermelon;
Caramel Carmine
Tan Ruby
Mustard
Buttercup
A couple of Prima flowers with SU! Designer Neutrals buttons, a sentiment from Pursuit of Happiness stamp set and some cute hat pins that I coloured with my Pro Markers to match the card and the card is finished. I had so much fun making this card, I hope it is worthy of being in the Tiddly challenge! LOL

Four Season
Another "New" stamp set today. This time I inked up the Hostess Four Seasons set that also arrived this week. I like birthdays!LOL
I am going to attempt to enter the one card into two challenges this week. I haven't done this before but a sketch from Freshly Made and a colour combo from Pal Paper Arts were just perfect to combine, lets face it who doesn't love a good sketch to motivate you. Thanks Cindy.
Here is my card:
The colours are those of the Classy color Challenge PPA146 at Pals Paper Arts Challenge
These are very classy colours indeed. I stamped the birdies in alternate colours and then punched them out using the 1 1/4 inch square punch. I also stamped some extra birdies in opposite colours so I could cut and mount them to give a little definition.
I added the Very Vanilla mat but thought it looked so plain so I took the single flower stamp from the set and randomly stamped in Riding Hood Red. Much happier.
The layout from Cindy's sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches FMS#59
I have taken inspiration from the extremely talented and layering obsessed (my opinion, not hers! I counted up to 16 layers a few weeks ago) Narelle Farrugia I think her cards look so elegant, however I think I need to work on my accuracy, I don't know how Narelle gets her margins so exact every time. The Riding Hood Red is textured card stock, I think it adds a little something without having to emboss that can add extra bulk to the card especially when layering.
I'm spewing i had run out of Crumb Cake Satin Binding Ribbon so had to use Very Vanilla.
Anyway I am very happy with the end result and look 9 layers! LOL

Little Friends for JAI sketch #142
Hello
I am so excited to ink up my brand new Little Friends stamp set that arrived this week and what better way to do it than a little inspiration from a Just Add Ink sketch. Check out the great cards from the DT ladies here.
I decided to paper piece the little girls dress so she pretty much set the tone for the rest of the card. Normally I would do a big red bow on the present but when I chose the spotty paper from the Festival of Prints DSP stack for the dress I knew the bow would get lost. I flicked through the pack looking for background paper and the bashful blue caught my eye so next came the blue bow on the present. The image was coloured using SU! inks and my trust blender pen.
My biggest mistake was stamping onto whisper white, I probably should have used Very Vanilla to match in with the DSP, sooo to overcome that I simply sponged a little crumb cake and coloured the petticoat and armband on the dress to take away the stark whiteness( is that even a word!)
Here is the card:
Everything was matted on Cherry Cobbler and then Crumb Cake. The sentiment was punched out with the window label punch and trimmed on one side and a nice bow to finish off.
This is the sketch:
Why don't you join in the fun at Just Add Ink and inspire someone.

Pinwheel fun for FMS#54
Hi there,
I am loving the simple sketches at Freshly Made Sketches, I am so glad I found this sight! The DT team are inspiring. I am also glad that I finally have a bit more time to play along in some challenges.
During the week I got my order with the sweet and adorable Patio Party DSP and couldn't go past using it for this sketch. I decided on the cupcake paper and used the pinwheel as inspiration for the 'any shape'.
The colours I chose are Primrose Pink, Pool Party and Whisper White because they all go great with this DSP pack. I just wish my photo's came out better because the colours are fantastic!
The pinwheel is Pool Party card stock that has been run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots EF and then lined with DSP. This was then mounted to the tag from the Two Tags Bigz die which I have stamped and embossed in white EP and also run through with the EF. A brad in the center secures it all. Such a fun card!! It reminds me of going to the local carnivals when we were kids.
Supplies List:
Card Stock: Whisper White, Primrose Pink, Pool Party
DSP: Patio Party
Stamp Set: A word for You
Others: Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, White Embossing Powder, Two Tags Bigz Die, Brad

Hi There,
One of my work colleagues is turning 50 this week so I gathered inspiration from the sketch at Just Add Ink to make her a card. I decided on soft colours and my all time favourite stamp set "Bordering on Romance".

The colours I have used are Pink Pirouette, Primrose Petal, Pool Party, Baja Breeze and a touch of Always Artichoke, oh and course Whisper White. Very pretty colours together. Just Add...Children in the sun!
Over at Just Add Ink this week the challenge is to make a kids card or just add children and I have done just that. With the sun finally shining here in Victoria, Australia, it has put me into a summer mood so out came the cute, but rarely inked, Sunny Fun stamp set.
Once again the watercolour pencils and blender pen came out to colour this image and what says Summer more than a few children splashing around in the swimming pool. I wanted to keep it bright and cheery so added the coloured row of pennant flags. Now all that is left to do is wait a few months until summer arrives! LOL
Card Stock: Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Night of Navy textured, Whisper White.
DSP: Big Top Birthday (retired)
Other: Water Colour Pencils, Blender pen, ProMarkers.
Baker's twine.
Tools: Pennant Punch.
