It is fast approaching that time of year again so I thought I would make a Christmas card with one of the great images from this months sponsor
The image I have used is called 'Build your own Christmas' and comes as you see it here but also with each element separated so you can cut and paste them where you want them and build your own image...hence the name!!
I have colour this Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-9076130491717574282013-10-14T09:30:00.000+11:002013-10-14T09:30:00.643+11:00Feeling Sketchy #72Hi Guys,
I hope the team over at Feeling Sketchy are giving you plenty of inspiration to make some cards....I know I definitely need it!! Spending time in my scrap room just isn't very high on my priority list ATM so I apologise in advance for the very simple cards I have been turning out of late, although I do like the simple look too. I have used a glitter printed card stock that I have had in Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-89650571161873842092013-09-23T09:00:00.000+10:002013-09-23T09:00:02.099+10:00Feeling Sketchy #70

I haven't been able to get here much of late. There is a lot going on in my life ATM and challenges are the last thing on my mind, however, I miss it so here I am.
This is a quick card I put together for both the Feeling Sketchy Challenge and also my swap for my card group. The stamps are from Stampin Up! and the paper is from a pad I purchased at the recent Papercraft Show.

A really quick post tonight to share my card for this weeks sketch at Feeling Sketchy.
I pulled out some Stampin Up! stamps for this one. Images are from Nature Walk stamp set which I have coloured up with distress inks. The background layer was stamped with a scriptive stamp from Stamp It and the embossed in clear. I then coloured that up with Distress Ink as well. It's Sunday which means it my last day to get my card made for this weeks sketch over at Feeling Sketchy. The girls have a great incentive for me to make sure I get an entry in each week this month, they will be inviting someone to be a Guest Designer. I would love to have the opportunity to do that, although I am too busy to be a full time DT member I certainly would be able to manage a shortDani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-64726797477588496432013-03-16T19:23:00.001+11:002013-03-16T19:23:30.251+11:00CAS for Tiddly InksHi there,
This weeks challenge at Tiddly Inks is to make a CAS card. When I think CAS, I think lots of 'white' space. I got the lovely Inking of You image from the digi store a while ago, my daughter is turning18 this year along with all her friends so I seem to be making 18th birthday cards every other week. I thought this Image would be very versatile and fun to play with. Here I have Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-51314126724409892602013-03-10T23:45:00.001+11:002013-03-11T10:11:40.112+11:00French Diamonds for F #49
Hi there,
It was a hot and balmy day here in Victoria Oz so a great day to stay inside with the air-con on and make a few cards. This one is my entry into this weeks Challenge at Feeling Sketchy. Here is the sketch we had to follow:
And this is what I came up with. When I first saw the sketch I thought OMG what am I going to do with that.......I don't work well with diamonds! But Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-66798842663391362662013-03-03T21:14:00.002+11:002013-03-17T18:07:12.081+11:00New stamps for #48 at Feeling Sketchy
Yesterday i had a wonderful day at the Scrapbook and Paper show in Melbourne with my sister and a couple of craft friends. I had a lucky find with an adorable clear stamp set called Urban Belles- Love Hearts by Kanban. I've not heard of this brand before but will definitely be looking out for them in the future.
I am entering this card into the challenge at Feeling Sketchy, here is the sketch:Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-36686963057005879902013-03-03T20:47:00.000+11:002013-03-03T20:47:56.152+11:00Round happy birthday
Hi there,
Today I have made a round birthday card using a funky Odd Girl digi image. My daughter's friends are all turning 18 this year so I am having to come up with new cards every other week. This one I started last week for a pink and white challenge but never got to finish it. The image has been coloured with Pro Markers but the humidity seems to make the ink go a bit blotchy.
I am Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-90142938815390949362013-02-16T14:13:00.001+11:002013-02-16T14:13:50.396+11:00Going Asian for Feeling Sketchy Hi again I know, I know three posts in one weekend, I'm amazed too. This card is for this weeks sketch at Feeling Sketchy As soon as I saw the layout I knew I had to pull out the Asian blossom flowers.
Everything on my card is from Stampin' Up! I used the Fancy Fan embossing folder on the background and to blossom stamp is from a retired Hostess set called Simply Soft which is Dani art 4 Uhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17910034031422829771noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726115981855852780.post-87930665385291383852013-02-16T08:30:00.000+11:002013-02-16T08:47:10.848+11:00A Big Hug for Passion for ProMarkers
The time has come, I think my colouring has finally got good enough to enter a card in the Passion for ProMarkers Challenge. I have recently purchased a number of Flex Markers to go with the Pro Markers I already had, I am enjoying the 'gaps' that some of the colors are filling for me. I have had a great day in my craft room today, there was a builder doing some repairs to our bathroom which has left me house bound pretty much all day. It doesn't take much for me to have an excuse to stay in my room and play LOL!
