Hi Guys,
A really quick post tonight to share my card for this weeks sketch at Feeling Sketchy.
I pulled out some Stampin Up! stamps for this one. Images are from Nature Walk stamp set which I have coloured up with distress inks. The background layer was stamped with a scriptive stamp from Stamp It and the embossed in clear. I then coloured that up with Distress Ink as well. Over all a very pleasing effect.
I hope you like my card, here is the Sketch:
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog. Please leave me a comment because I love to read what you think.

By lantern light for FS #50
It's Sunday which means it my last day to get my card made for this weeks sketch over at Feeling Sketchy. The girls have a great incentive for me to make sure I get an entry in each week this month, they will be inviting someone to be a Guest Designer. I would love to have the opportunity to do that, although I am too busy to be a full time DT member I certainly would be able to manage a short stint at it, so girls, pick me, pick me! LOL
Anyway, this is the sketch for week #50:
And this is what I have come up with:
It's a bit wintery considering we are just coming out of summer here in Australia however, I saw a tutorial on how to get glow onto your image and I wanted to play. This is the sweet Christmas Lantern Marci from La La Land stamps which I have coloured up with my Pro Markers. I think I have some practice to do but I am quite happy with the result for my first go. To finish the sketch I added some Calla Lillies from Hooked on Craft tied with ribbon from SU! The sentiment tab is from a paper pack that I have had for years. I hope you like my card even though it is a bit dark but hey there's no point in having a lantern in daylight!

CAS for Tiddly Inks
Hi there,
This weeks challenge at Tiddly Inks is to make a CAS card. When I think CAS, I think lots of 'white' space. I got the lovely Inking of You image from the digi store a while ago, my daughter is turning18 this year along with all her friends so I seem to be making 18th birthday cards every other week. I thought this Image would be very versatile and fun to play with. Here I have positioned her nib so it looks as though she has just completed writing Happy Birthday which is also a digi from Tiddly Inks.
I think the colours give her a very french feel and I certainly achieved a lot of 'white' space.
Pro Marker colours;
Skirt and Jacket: Midnight Blue, Cadet Blue and China Blue
Hat, boots and top: Burgundy, Berry Red, Poppy
Hair: Burnt Sienna, Sandstone and Cinnamon
Skin: Sunkissed pink, Blush, Satin
Pen: Black, Cool Grey4 and 5, Blue Grey 1 and 2
I hope you like my clean and simple card.

French Diamonds for F #49
Hi there,
It was a hot and balmy day here in Victoria Oz so a great day to stay inside with the air-con on and make a few cards. This one is my entry into this weeks Challenge at Feeling Sketchy. Here is the sketch we had to follow:
And this is what I came up with. When I first saw the sketch I thought OMG what am I going to do with that.......I don't work well with diamonds! But once I pulled the papers out it all came together quickly.
The gorgeous papers are from the Lost & Found 3 paper pad by My Minds Eye. I am a real red girl so just love the colour combo of this pad. The flowers which are from the Stampin Up set "Growing Green" have been stamped in Black Momento Ink and the coloured with my Pro Markers to get the depth. That gorgeous flourish is from Cheery Lane Design called Fanciful Flourish B117 and I have also added a touch of colour to it with my Markers.
The words in the center piece are also from Stampin Up! All pieces have had the sponged treatment and a few well placed (if I do say so myself lol) finishes it off nicely.
I hope you like this weeks entry, leave me a comment I love to know what you think of my work.

New stamps for #48 at Feeling Sketchy
Yesterday i had a wonderful day at the Scrapbook and Paper show in Melbourne with my sister and a couple of craft friends. I had a lucky find with an adorable clear stamp set called Urban Belles- Love Hearts by Kanban. I've not heard of this brand before but will definitely be looking out for them in the future.
I am entering this card into the challenge at Feeling Sketchy, here is the sketch:
I have coloured this Belle up using my Pro and Flex Markers as well as
the flowers which is another stamp in the set. Isn't she just adorable! The bow on the hat is also a separate stamp, I couldn't resist adding it to the headband. The background paper is quite glittery so I added some touches to the flower and buttons on the flower centers and headband.

Round happy birthday
Hi there,
Today I have made a round birthday card using a funky Odd Girl digi image. My daughter's friends are all turning 18 this year so I am having to come up with new cards every other week. This one I started last week for a pink and white challenge but never got to finish it. The image has been coloured with Pro Markers but the humidity seems to make the ink go a bit blotchy.
I am still please with the way it turned out, this is the first round card I have ever made!
The theme for this card suites both, Digital Tuesday Challenge - Birthday and Passion for Pro Markers- Round card.
The card stock and ribbon are from Stampin' Up!
I hope Sam likes her birthday card!
