This delightful little card I whipped up using the Bliss set, which you can get for free simply by placing an order over $100 or holding a workshop with $600 in sales.

SUPPLIES

Cardstock; Crumb Cake (121685), Old Olive (106576), Cherry Cobbler (121681)

Inks: Crumb Cake (121030), Old Olive (102277), Cherry Cobbler (119669)

Accessories: Hemp Twine (100982)
Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976)
Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402)

Check out the Sale-A-Brations catalogue for more info about how you can get this set and more  >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Art4U Tip........The Square Lattice Texture folder almost makes your paper feel like material, try stamping your card stock before you run it through the texture folder, you can get some great results from doing this. Stumped for ideas, take some inspiration from the clothes and linen you see around you.

Until next time............Happy Creating, Cheers Dani xoxo

Birthday Bakery

Happy Sunday friends,

Today I would like to share a sample I have put together for my SU! board. This one I have made using the very fun, Birthday Bakery Hostess set from Stampin' Up! Rather than stamping out the whole row of cakes, I picked out individual ones to stamp and then matted them in a row! I CASED the idea for this card from a similar one I saw on Split coast Stampers but the cakes were done in circles.
I think it is a great card for male or female.

The colours I have used are Real Red, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Whisper White and of course the inspiration came by using the striped DSP from the bonus Coco Christmas pack.

I really must get a better camera to take my photo's!

You can get this delightful stamp set for FREE simply by hosting a workshop or placing an order over $300. A great way to build your Stamp supplies.

Anyways, I hope your weekend has been full of creativity, until next time, HAPPY CRAFTING!

Love Dani xoxo

You Gotta Love Monochromatic

Hi as I said earlier, I love working in monochrome and it just wouldn't be right if I didn't enter a card into the Just Add Ink #51 challenge using my favourite colour combo of crumb cake and any other brown. In this case that other brown is soft suede.

I decided to do a bit of a love theme with Valentine's Day coming up and all! To make the ribbon that the hearts are sitting on I have used the felting technique, you can see a tutorial video over on Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty site here and just coloured it with soft suede ink and a sponge. Other elements I added are the NEW Square Lattice texture plate that you will find on pg 17 of the Stampin' Up! summer mini and hearts punched out using the Full Heart (119883) punch from Stampin' Up! Another simple card to add to my SU sample board.
